Cheshire, CT Home Radon Mitigation Enhancement: Fan, Manometer, and Rain Guard Installation
Before: The residence did not have any existing radon mitigation systems in place. There were no measures to guard against moisture or to monitor radon levels. The potential health risks associated with long-term radon exposure remained unaddressed. After: A comprehensive radon mitigation system was installed, featuring a radon fan for active soil depressurization, effectively reducing the radon gas concentration in the home. Alongside the fan, a manometer was installed to continuously monitor the system's performance and ensure it operates correctly. To protect the fan from the elements, a rain guard was added, providing durability and longevity to the mitigation setup. It should be noted that the radon levels have not been tested by our team, and the fan installation position is above the area that may coincide with the daughter's bedroom. It is recommended that a radon test be conducted to establish the homes radon levels post-installation.
