Photo Album: Advanced Radon Mitigation for Norwalk Residence with Unique Challenges
A complex radon mitigation system was skillfully installed in a Norwalk, CT home that exhibited a radon level of 5.5 pCi/L. The home features two distinct crawl spaces-one with a cement base and another enclosed-which presented unique challenges. The system utilizes a three-pipe setup, with one pipe placed within the block foundation, another in the crawl space, and the third extending from near the balcony. The external parts of the system discreetly exit to the left of the balcony door and ascend up the right side of the house, ensuring effective radon reduction while maintaining the home's aesthetic appeal.
